Dream Motor Group Leadership
The four people who set the standard at every one of our dealerships, and how to reach the store nearest you.
Dream Motor Group is led by founder and CEO Joe Agresti, partners Nick Saban and Steve Cannon, and President Randy Powell. Joe bought a single Mercedes-Benz store in Baton Rouge in 2005. Coach Saban joined as a partner in 2014 with the expansion into Birmingham. Together they oversee twelve dealerships across five states.
Founder, CEO and Owner
Joe grew up in New Jersey, studied accounting at Rutgers, and started his career at Arthur Andersen. In 2005 he bought one Mercedes-Benz dealership in Baton Rouge, and that store became Dream Motor Group. He is still the one who decides what "taken care of" is supposed to look like here, and he expects it at every rooftop. Joe and his wife Adrienne are raising two boys.
Partner and Co-Owner
Long before the championships, Nick worked at his father's service station in West Virginia. The rule there was simple: treat every person who walks in with respect, no exceptions for who they are or what they drive. He brought that rule with him when he joined Joe Agresti as a partner in 2014, the year the group expanded into Birmingham. In 2017 we named Mercedes-Benz of Music City in his father's memory.
Partner
Steve graduated from West Point in 1986 and served as an Airborne Ranger, stationed in West Germany as the Iron Curtain came down. He later led Mercedes-Benz USA as President and CEO, then Atlanta's AMB Sports and Entertainment. He founded the Johnny Mac Soldiers Fund, which has raised more than $17 million in scholarships for veterans and military families. Steve and his wife Ann live in Atlanta and have nine children.
Partner and President
Randy started in the late 1970s as a Mercedes-Benz technician apprentice in Fort Myers, Florida, for the simplest reason there is: he loved cars. He worked his way from the shop floor to service manager to running dealerships, earning his bachelor's and master's degrees along the way. He now oversees day to day operations across the group. When you talk to Randy about your car, you are talking to someone who has had his hands on one.

Yes. Nick became a partner and co-owner in 2014, when the group expanded into Birmingham, and he has been an owner here ever since. His name is not licensed to us, and his ties to our Alabama stores and the communities around them are personal.
Joe Agresti is the founder, CEO and majority owner. Nick Saban, Steve Cannon and Randy Powell are partners in the group. It is privately held, not part of a publicly traded chain.
